Mermaid Waters Quilt Club features my latest fabric collection with Riley Blake Designs called Saltwater released in 2015.

The Mermaid Waters Quilt Club has been created as a five part club series.

This gorgeous quilt, measuring 64" square, features the beautiful mermaid Maya raw edge appliqued and embroidered over a circular centre panel.  The pieced backgound of the quilt is sewn with Saltwater fabric squares and then cut in a fun and simple technique to create the pieced panel.

The first three months you will be sewing the pieced blocks that make up the background of the quilt.  Month four you will begin work on the circular panel, raw edge applique and hand embroidering to create your own Maya mermaid.  In the final month you will add the white borders and receive fabric to create a scrappy binding to complete your quilt, you will also receive a special studio gift in month 3 and 5.

Month 1: The complete Mermaid Waters pattern &  a selection of Saltwater fabric to complete twelve Mermaid Waters blocks.

Month 2: A selection of Saltwater fabric to complete twelve Mermaid Waters blocks.

Month 3: A selection of Saltwater fabric to complete twelve Mermaid Waters blocks & a studio gift.

Month 4: Saltwater fabric for Maya mermaid raw edge applique, 1 x skein of  COMSO 155 thread, Vilene, heat n bond & white solid fabric.

Month 5: A selection of  Saltwater fabric strips to create the scrappy binding, white solid fabric for  borders & a studio gift.

The first Quilt Club payment will not be charged to your credit card until the BOM begins 1st July 2015. Your credit card will be charge the day prior to delivery for the cost of the club plus postage.

Please note, backing fabric is not included.

By signing up as a Quilt Club member you agree to participate for the full 5 MONTH program and for your credit card to be charged each month for the cost of the program.
